Larry Glenn Martin Sr.

Oh how I miss my daddy

Rev. Tim Martin - November 27, 2021
As I reflect on my cousin Larry my mind is filled with precious memories of a cousin that loved me and his home was a safe place for me during my adolescence years. A home filled with hospitality and great food. I loved playing with all the kiddos. Time gets away from us and seeing family doesn’t seem to happen. I am so thankful I was able to see Larry and Bonnie over the Summer and share in our love for one another. My mission was to see if Larry was ready for Heaven. Glad I was able to pray with them both. Love you all very much. Timmy

My sincere condolences…RIP

I am so proud to call you Daddy. You were the epitome of goodness with a heart so full of love for everyone. You were always calm, kind, loving, strong, fair, and firm. A man that we all respected. I'm gonna miss walking into your living room and seeing you wink at me and saying "there she is" with a smile on your face. I will miss your handsome face, your voice, your laugh, the twinkle in your eyes, your hugs, you singing and playing guitar for us, and holding your hand. I will miss everything. You never once let us kids down so I know in my heart that when we need you, you'll be there still. And I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have given to me; to all of us. I love you Daddy and I promise you that I will always "take care of business". Love you forever, Marsha Lynn

Daddy…I Love You So John 14 1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and I will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

God bless you all at this sad time. May the Lord offer you comfort.

I love you!

Grandpa, you are the reason I had the drive to push myself and learn the guitar just as you had. You gave me a never ending love and passion for music. I am at peace knowing that you are in a better place and your pain is no longer daunting you. I know you will forever be in my prayers and dreams guiding me through this roller coaster called life. I love you and I miss you.
